Ever wonder why girls dig James Bond? Well, aside that he knows how to kick the asses of bad guys, he also dresses smart. So aside from the things that I read in PGG, here are my additional points and tips on wearing the “killer looks” on a daily basis.
• Leather goods in your outfit should be of the same color. Never wear a brown belt with black shoes or vice versa. This is a universal rule so don’t argue. You need to take note as well that if you are wearing a leather strapped watch, it should go with your shoes’ and your belt’s color, this goes out with leather bags as well.
• Never wear brown pants with green top. Not unless you want to look like a tree.
• Get rid of the BFD or Bad-Fit-Disease. Seriously, if you can cope with this and wearing clothes that perfectly fit your body (not loose and not too tight), you’ll make a simple shirt into a designer piece. One guide I follow is that, the shoulder cut of your shirt should be aligned to your shoulders.
• Checkered + Stripes = Game board. Now, if you don’t want to look like a giant chess board, checkered or stripes top should be worn with plain pants or vice versa. Too much of it equals checkmate!
• Invest in a fancy watch. Watch is the only acceptable jewellery that a guy can wear, and besides what would the ladies think if you’re not aware of your time?
• Invest in shoes. A good pair of kicks can make you or break you. Be it a sneakers for casual or leather for those formal occasions, the shoes will make the man.
• Be neat and clean. Remember, body odor and bad breath is a MAJOR TURN OFF. So before you leave your place, don’t forget that it pays to smell good.
So there goes the list that I follow almost everyday. I hope these pointers will help you in how to choose your clothes daily. Ladies, I hope this will help your man ;)
